  1. Why did you resurrect twitter? I have almost no use for it. But, I do think Fake Steve’s use of twitter at the Apple MacWorld keynote was the best thing I’ve seen in years, It was almsot l;ike sitting in a staff meeting on Boylston Street next to you guys and tryiung to keep a straightface as the little giant would go on about token ring or the longevity of SNA and the Microchannel architecture. It was the best use of twitter ever, Dave.

  2. funny in terms of time (month) how i got hot and cold. its hot again now for me. Its the BEST source of social media by a wide margin for me.

  3. I don’t get it. I admit it (and I have post coming up on this scheduled for Tuesday).

What do I get in Twittr that I don’t get via IM – except for the fun of creating a conversation that’s virtually impossible for an outsider to follow…is it the magic decoder ring thing? Or the status of the thing? Does anyone really want to know what I’m having for lunch or know how boring the meeting I am in is?

What’s the next step, a head mounted webcam with gps and and running commentary?

    I don’t know…it seems to all lead somewhere I don’t want to be…

  4. I don’t get it either… whenever you’ve got a chance, please do explain it to me.

As Mark rightly posts… it is a publicly available Insider’s conversation.

No pun intended, but why would it be interesting to anyone to display replies to messages that I have to search for (and loose time) …

  5. I can see some of the application I guess…Jeremiah uses it to pose questions to the crowd, literally continuing the conversation as he calls it. And some others seem to use it to see if they can’t get people to snort coffee through their noses during meeting…;-)

  7. Waiting for your article on twitter applications post, David. at the moment I use twitter because everyone is using it. And yeah, a twitter-wordpress plugin allows me to post directly to my blog.
