Oak Bluffs

Quick blast across the Sound for lunch in Oak Bluffs, the honky-tonkiest town on Martha’s Vineyard. Drank too much beer at the Offshore Ale Company then went fishing for bonito at Hedge Fence. Saw fish. They would not bite.

  1. Very nice picture David. kinda like Monterey east of Cannery Row (if the idiots had any money left after they paid 1.4 million for their “Fixer Upper Cannery Cottage With quick access to the harbor, the Defense Language Institute, or Coastguard Base.”

Interesting that not one of the homes has a tacky “For Sale/Foreclosure” sign beside it’s sculpted walkway.

Summer’s over here. it got down to a brisk 64 last night. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
