New camera

Thanks to Uncle Fester I am sporting a monster Nikon D200 Digital SLR. Here’s one of the first shots — just waliked into the fishing garage, aimed and shot.

This is epicenter of my universe. Three dozen fishing rods, waders, clam baskets, bait buckets, lures, reels, hooks, sinkers, fly tying materials, etc. etc. etc.

  1. I envy your the rod and reel selection. And I suspect not one of them came as a “combination” outfit from WalMart.
you have two Penn squiddders? I’m down to only one working one now.

  2. I particularly like the banner in the back of the garage.

    I’d say there’s 2 special senators, a Super Mariner (with monel), a 702z and 2 702ss.

Similar look in my garage, only an old stuffed Steelhead takes the place of the RT Banner.

  3. you got em all right. And a Valentine fly reel

The banner is from a long long ago clave. I had to pull it out and nail it up this spring during the annual decluttering.

  4. now that’s one fly epicentristic universe-referential combobulation of artifacts. i appreciate all things fishing even though I am essentially a lake guy from texas (fork, tawakoni, mainly) – seining for minnows on occasion and subsisting off of crappie (people never pronounce that correctly), largemouth bass, channel cat, and for odd sport, that occasional behemoth cat from the base of the dam. gonna learn salt one day, now that I live on east coast. (no grabbling for me…) thanks for the view.
