Very cool – excellent way to visualize a portion of how much fuel is consumed daily – just in air travel. Now imagine the shipping and ground transportation. I watch daily coal train runs with 50+ cars going by and know that this scene is replicated in inumerable locations world wide every day – day in and out. It is mind numbing to try to comprehend the material consumed daily and that it has been this way for decades.
